Sown & Grown in the Fens

A small flower farm in the Fenland producing seasonal flora for bouquets, borders and special occasions.

Meet Katelyn, Your Flower Farmer

I have always been an outdoorsy person, so the other year I made it my mission to brighten up our own garden with flowers!

After getting the buzz for bloom, I decided to take it to another level and grow cut flowers for everyone to enjoy!

Your Local Flower Farm

Based in Wimblington, Cambridgeshire.

The Process

I strive to keep the process of producing flowers as natural as possible, using regenerative farming techniques and natural resources to assist with high yields and strong plant growth.

Sowing

I now sow my seeds straight into soil blocks, inside & by a south facing window.

Germination

When the seeds germinate, I move them outside into the greenhouse / under glass.

Potting Up

When the plants get big enough I pot them on into larger plug trays or 2" pots.

Bloom

After I harden them off and plant them out, the plants then flower!
